Hello!

For the past while (between 1-3 years, not sure exactly) off and on I have had a weird dull penile pain which, is uncomfortable and a little bit painful. It comes on every so often. I have no signs of a growth, redness, or any irregularity. I am uncircumcised. I do not know if I possibly slept on it wrong or if it is a more serious condition. Could it possibly be a pain due to growth or something of that sort? (I am a later bloomer)

Any ideas or possible answers would be greatly appreciated.

It could be one of many things, but it's hard to come up with good ideas if you're not more specific. If it hurts in/near/around your foreskin and/or your glans (penis head), it could be a condition called phimosis where the foreskin opening is too tight/narrow to allow you to retract your foreskin all the way back. If you have no troubles retracting your foreskin so the entire glans can be exposed, then this probably isn't the problem.

If the pain is like throughout your penis, you should probably see a doctor. It's possible you slept on it wrong, but not likely. It seems to have gone on too long for it to be an infection, and a very mild infection at that.

Take a look at the links, there might be something in there that'll give a better idea. Regardless whatever the problem is, it's probably not very serious and certainly doesn't warrant circumcision if you don't want it.

This is a good reason to get circumsized. If you are sexually active, it may be a sexually transmitted disease. If not, you may have a recurrent UTI. A urine exam will solve your problem. See a doctor. Clean your foreskin frequently. Consider having your tip snipped.
