there don't have much of a brain so i wouldnt think so. even if they do it would be nothing like the pain humans and other mammals feel, it would be more like a reflex.

I hope not for the fly's sake (ants can take quite a while to kill their prey), but I suspect that they do feel pain, or something very much like it.

There is plenty of evidence that vertebrates feel pain, so it wouldn't surprise me if the 'lower' animals do too.

I would imagine so........but i'd prefer having a fly being eaten by an ant rather than landing on my food..........did ya ever see that on tv in slow motion........yuk........
