This is gonna sound very odd, but when I wear my hair up I look good, and then instant popularity, and when I wear it down, it looks alright and everyone hates me. What do I do?

people cannot hate someone on the principle of looks. i have to be honest and think your being a bit vain. no problem there as i'm narcissistic myself. great body blue eyes and a hit with the ladies i am, a bit rough and ready. pity about my shitty personality. its not you that has the problem its the people who base perceptions of you on hairstyle. what you do is stay as you are, dont even think about how other people feel or care. i have a beard at the minute, i'm not going to shave it just because somebody shouted "oi jesus".

That's really strange, Oh well let them be really. If you want to be Popular then wear it up and if you really don't care what people think then wear it how you like. People are strange creatures at time and this is one of them.

Thats because people who look good always get attention ie celebrities, models etc.
Be yourself and wear what YOU want to wear as long as you feel good about the way you are and what you look like.

hey.. just be yourself... dont wear it up to be cool.. thats not cool if you do that. you should be able to shine for who you really are.. not what others what you to be.. and those that think ewww look at her with her hair down...:O that is just wrong! they might say they are your friends but obviously not.. at the moment at school we learnt about conformity(conformity is when you do stuff like wear certain stuff to fit in.. or change yourself to be like someone else..) you seriously shouldnt do that ! you should show your true colours and to the point be yourself!
who cares what others think!

ive noticed the same thing, when its cloudy outside, everyone thinks im just a doll, but go figure, when its sunny people throw rocks at me and stuff.....shesh~~~my god doesnt anyone realize ITS GOT NOTHING TO DO WITH HOW U DO UR HAIR!!!

That's wierd,when i was at school a long time ago,when perms were fashionable,when my friend wore her hair down and curly she was lovely,but when she had it tied back she was awful.
