To solve for X one must first isolate X to one side of an equation

1*10^42=(0.16)/(x)(2.0)^6
(1*10^42)(1/0.16)=[(0.16)/(x)(2.0)^6](1/(0.16)
1*10^42/0.16=(x)(2.0)^6
(1*10^42/0.16)(1/(2.0)^6)((x)(2.0)^6)
(1*10^42)/((2.0)^6)(0.16)=x
x=1*10^42/0.32^6

10 ^ (42) = (0.16) / (2 ^ (6) . X)
X = ( 0.16) / [10 ^ (42) x 2 ^ (6)]
X = 2.5 x10 ^ (-3) x 10 ^ (- 42)
X = 2.5 x 10 ^ (- 45)

1* 10^42 = 0.16/ x * 2^6

or 10 ^42 = 0.16/64x

or x = 0.16 / 64 * 10 ^42

or x = 0.25 * 10^ -44

1*10^42=(0.16)/(x)(64)

1*10^42=1/400x
400x =10^-42
x = (1/400)*10^-42
x =(0.0025)*10^-42
x =2.5 *10^-45
