The movement for women's suffrage is a social, economic and political reform movement aimed at extending suffrage—the right to vote—to women.
Or are you saying women should not have the vote, which is sufferage?

Women's suffrage is the right to vote.
Is that a problem for you? Many women fought and some even went to jail in the United States to bring about women's suffrage.
Are you confusing suffrage with something else? Suffering, maybe?
What should make all right thinking people sick is the fact that there are countries in the world which treat women as less than equals to men. Some do withold suffrage, and some even treat women as slaves.
Unfortunately there is little that people in any one country can do to affect change in countries which deny women basic rights. It is up to those countries to change those systems.

Still exist, they prevail even in the new countries they exist in. We recently had a young teacher, 2 young children at home and pregnant with her third child, body burned and dumped on a beach. Since then 3 young women found dead and all from the same ethnic group. It not only makes me sad, it makes me wonder why. If this was their homeland would anyone care? I wish well to the families who are only looking for answers at this point in time.
