I am trying to record my voice message, which is okay, but when I listen to it from an outside phone, Verizon adds an entire minute's worth of options after my message. I just want to have my voice on my voice message. How do I do it?

Unfortunately, I'm pretty sure with Verizon that you can only have it so that you have that stupid "Please leave a message after the tone. To send a numeric page, press 2" or whatever after your recorded message. Sorry!

To the best of my knowledge, for your voice mail, you can only have either:
1) fully automated
2) personally recorded w/ after options
3) recording your name to be put in the automated message

With Verizon, there is no way to get rid of this. Same with all the other national cell carriers. There are security reasons for this, but I am not going to get into that.
