We live and work at motel in utah, We are sometimes required to do painting, and scraping of paint off doorways to repaint, are they required by OSHA to have safety glasses and eye wash as we work around pool chemicals.

Be realistic. If you call OSHA to get your boss a fine, you may soon find yourself out of work and a place to live. Why not just ask your boss to buy the necessary materials? It will save him money to keep you from getting injured.

If you go to OSHA you will most likely loose your job. Safety glasses are vary cheep. Buy a pair and be sure to use them in front of your boss and hope he gets the hint.

the owner of the motel is responsible for providing all safety equipment for staff doing work involving risk to personal health

yes your company should provide a PPE for you call OSHA and get them a fine
(PPE= personal protective equipment) in case you didn't know
