I'm strongly considering making a career transition into the industry. I have a bachelor degree and am almost fully bilingual in Spanish after 4 years of language classes in HS and college. The dilemma is which insurance field to enter? I'm leaning towards Health and Life, but I'd appreciate insights.

Why not do all of the above?
Independent agents and some P&C agents do it all. (Allstate, Statefarm, Nationwide..)

Wait a minute...what's your degree in? And what type of work would you expect to be doing in the insurance industry?

Any way, you NEED to have some statistics background, and a bit of psych wouldn't hurt.

What about another type of insurance that is right at the point where health insurance and life insurance were before it exploded? Would you be interested in looking at that?
