No

The No Child Left Behind is going to leave every child behind because the government is once again ignoring the obvious. Homeschooling has been massively outperforming public schools and outperforming private schools by a large, but lesser, margin. We need to end Socialized Education. Private Schools, homeschooling, and charities such as churches can provide education much better than the current system. School standards keep falling, but we keep pumping more money into the schools and expanding the length of school, causing standards to decrease even more. SAT scores fell 50 parts from 67-02 despite the SAT II being introduced in 95 which was 100 points easier. The largest drop was among the highest scoring. People even get shot in public schools (nobody mentions that the federal government law prohibiting guns on school zones prevents teachers from having guns to defend the class against the mass-murderers). The curriculum is boring. Whenever a class is successful, the school tries to interfere with that success (I can remember an elective that created enthusiasm among the class and which filled up really quick as most of the school wanted to take it, but was constantly facing complaints from the administration because the grading system was a little bit suspect and there was plenty of controversy coming out of that class).

Bush actually had strong grades while in score (his grades at Yale would have been As nowadays and were better than his classmate John Kerry), but he became a drunk afterward. He woke up on his 40th birthday hungover and stopped drinking but he's still drunk. He must have been a really heavy drunk to still be drunk 20 years later. Bush's drinking and drug abuse came up during the 2000 election but he was as unaffected by it as Bill Clinton was by his numerous adulteries. Maybe we should pay more attention to the little things next thing we're picking a president because we don't need another Bush or Clinton. 20 years of the Bush-Clinton Dynasty has us screwed up enough. We don't need 8 more.
