Someone you look up to and strive to be a better person as a result of knowing that person. The interviewer isn't looking for just a name, he/she's looking to see WHY they are your role models.
For instance, one of my role models is my husband because he has been with his company for 25 years, thru layoffs and cutbacks, he has always done his job to the best of his ability and has gone above and beyond to make sure the product is manufactured to the highest quality standards because the customer's satisfaction ensures job security.
