Is Microsoft pushing out updates for the day light savings time issue?
Beginning in 2007, daylight saving time (DST) will be extended in the United States. DST will start on March 11, 2007, which is three weeks earlier than usual, and it will end on November 4, 2007, which is one week later than usual. This results in a new DST period that is four weeks longer than in previous years. Unless certain updates are applied to your computer, the time zone settings for your computer's system clock may be incorrect during this four-week period. In particular, you must make sure that both your Windows operating system and your calendar programs are updated.

I am getting tons of update related calls for computer issues; It is causing issue with loading the XP page.

What are the fixes?

This should be your answer right here. This site I listed below will give you a patch or a program to run that will fix your time permanently for the new DST times so you won't have to mess with them ever again unless for some dumb reason they decide to go and change DST all over again, but I kinda doubt it. Anyway go to this site select home user, then select your operating system and then follow instructions. If running XP and you have AUTOMATIC UPDATES turned on the you should already be fixed and not have to mess with your time cause it installs the patch you need for the fix back in February. If it's not fixed then use the link below it fixed both my XP and 2000 computers and it's even a Microsoft site. To find out your version of Windows right-click on My Computer and go to Properties and your version will be listed there. If your running 2000 then you will have to run the program from this site below to fix the problem. And trust me it does work!!!

If you have your WinXP on automatic updates you've already has the patch for DST. If not go here http://support.microsoft.com/gp/cp_dst

Well, I had a bit of trouble getting it, since Microsoft sucked as usual--but finally was successful.
