A while ago I got tons of money for my birthday. I was really excited, because i've always wanted a digital camera. I bought one and was so happy and glad i did. I never used it, unless i went to the zoo or a friend was over.
I have unusal curly hair, that is very hard to make straight without a flat iron. My friend with money, offered to buy my a flat iron if i gave her my camera. I agreed thinking it wouldn't be a big deal, since i was in big need of a iron.
It is a prefect iron and i love it tons! My hair is always pin straigh now. But it was only 27 dollars. The camera was 150 dollars. I feel cheaped out and sad all the time.
I really want my camera back, and would do anything to get it back. But i dont want to hurt my friends feelings. What in the world would she do with two flat irons??
I dont even need to make my hair straight. But i wont be able to get another iron until summer time.
I could always do other things with my hair instead.
I need ideas of getting my camera back!

that's indian giving! your young and entitled to your fair share of mistakes. you could be honest with your friend about the situation or try to even things out so you dont feel so cheated by having her pay you the balance of the camera from what the flat iron cost. if she's a friend she will understand and likely give it back, but if she doesnt, you cannot honestly be upset if things dont work out because you should have thought this out before doing it. were your parents aware of this?

That was not a very smart thing to do....
First of all! Tell your friend how you feel and also bring to her attention the difference in value between the camera and the flat iron.
You could have saved for a flat iron in no time at all if you would have thought it thru.
I hope your friend understands and gives you back the camera.

Be honest with her tell that you love your flat iron but you been doing some thinking and you want your camera back. then tell her why you want your camera back.

If she is considered to be a friend as you say, it may be well to let things go, if you value the friendship...
You can always save (or lay-by) for another camera...
