I have had my stretch marks since 3 months and I'm 5 now!!! They itch like crazy and they are hideous. I wouldn't worry about anymore if I were you. If you need reassurance use cocoa butter. I also used mineral oil. Neither one of them helped me. I did read this article though, I forgot where I read it from, but it said if you need something to moisturize your belly use products that does not have mineral oil in it. I use the Gold Bond Body Lotion now and I have seen a difference. My marks stopped coming so frequently. And it helped with all the itching!

I got stretch marks at about 7-8 months, and oh my god, did they come in full force! It all depends on how toned you were before pregnancy. If you were a little flabby like I was before, you have a greater chance of getting them. If you had good muscle tone, you'll probably more prone to get them around your breasts and upper outer thighs. But maybe you are one of the lucky ones who don't get very many, I hope you are, because I have enough to share with everyone! So if you need any..........
Good luck momma!

Not everybody gets stretch marks. A manager at my old job had 3 kids. She's very skinny and I thought skinny people got stretch marks easier but she didnt get any. She said it was because every night before bed she would slather her belly with cocoa butter or lotion. It seems to have worked.

I got bad stretch marks at 7 months around the belly, my butt and inner thighs. And I slathered the cocoa lotion. My friend....not one mark.
It depends on the person. Good news is that my stretchmarks are fading and lost the weight I gained

Since the day I found out i was preggo I usda a conbination of cocoa butter, vitamen E and anything else i thought might of worked but it didnt!!!! It may help prevent them and they are sadly hereditary also!!! Good Luck!!!

Nothing can prevent stretch marks, you either get them or you dont and there is no way to tell in advance. I am 36 wks and just started to get them a week ago

I'm 23 weeks pregnant and was all delighted with myself that I hadn't any stetch marks when my mammy was talking about them. I use alot of body butter. But she says you won't even know that you have marks until after the baby is born. But I live in hope

a lot of it is genetic depending on the elasticity of your skin. did your mother get stretch marks from pregnancy? Also don't itch your stomach. That will cause them too.

It realy depends on your body. I didnt have any stretch marks when i was pregnant but after baby was born i had some on my lower back/butt. they went away on their own, thought it was wierd. anyways, use the shaebutter lotions on your belly . after baby is born you marks might go away on their own but if not I heard Maderma realy helps reduce them.
