If you make 20,000 a month I would do the following.

20,000 (per month) x 12 (months in a year) = 240,000 (per yr)

240,000 (a yr) / 52 (weeks per year) = 4615.38 (per week)

4615.38 (per week) / 40 (hours worked in a week...5 days times 8 hours is 40 hours a week) = 115.38

Could you have meant 20,000 a year?

Multiply $20,000 by 12 and divide it by 2080--that's the number of hours a full time worker works in a year. If you're making $20,000 a month, why do you care how much you make an hour?

I love McDonalds, I don't think the quality can get any better for a teenager working a cash register. What talent. It's not hard work, it's shitty work. Been there, done that. I can't believe you think a McDonalds employee should make multitudes more than a heart surgeon. I believe in equality but this is just insane.

Hi There,

Is there an act that defines the calculation of an hourly salary in India ?

My employer calculate it as {Annual Gross/(365 days X 8 working hrs)}, which seems very wrong to me. Please advise.
