yes it will harm your battery just like a cell phone dont charge it all the time because all that charging will drain the juice out of the battery

If left charging continuously, most batteries will begin to exhibit charge "memory" when they are not charging.. where they will only discharge to a certain point and then they suddenly go dead or provide no power.. while still seeming to have .. say... half power..

Many modern day batteries are better.. but you should "deep cycle" your battery occationally.. let it go ALMOST all the way down (my laptop has a level gauge on the bottom) and then fully charge it... then let it go almost all the way down and fully charge it again.. this will extend the life of the battery and keep it working well even when it gets mostly depleted...

CAUTION: you should NEVER fully discharge your battery to dead... some batteries will not charge back up properly after having gone dead.

It's ok.
But for a long time, it will harm your laptop's battery. It affects after a long time like 2-3 years.
By the way, you can increase the light of your screen by a key in your keyboard.

the laptop should be fine but if the battery works like other rechargables, keeping it plugged in actually make it die sooner. the way it was explained to me was that the battery chargers drain and charge the battery each time it is plugged in so it is better to let it drain itself then charge it. otherwise you will be constantly draining your battery and it loses life sooner. hope that helps.

You should allow your battery to discharge occasionally. This increasesthe battery's lifespan.
