I mean you shouldn't worry about getting a heartbeat now because its still early and the baby is still so small you won't hear a heartbeat. I found out I was pregnant at 5 weeks and he didn't even check for a heartbeat because he said it was too early. I think I was about 9 weeks when I heard it and the sound was a little faint.
Just take it easy and don't stress because stress can cause problems. Just keep praying everytime you get scared and you'll get through it. I am 23 weeks now and I still worry about something happening to my baby, but I just pray and the worry go away.

It is hard to find a heartbeat at that little. There is no way to get rid of this fear. We have it even when there is no history of miscarriage. Most miscarriages occur because there was something wrong with the embryo and it couldn't survive. If there is a problem, the body will most likely get rid of it. To help, try to focus on enjoying the experience of being pregnant and try not to dwell on the outcome. The fear is always there, and nothing anyone can say will help you. You can get through it and I hope that everything goes perfectly for you.

Not to be insensitive, but most often a miscarriage happens because the fetus is not viable. But I know that to the mother, every pregnancy is real and hopeful, and a miscarriage is heartbreaking.
So, yes, if there is a serious problem with the embryo, the body's response is to miscarry. I can imagine you are spooked after your recent miscarriage, too.
You will know better what's going on next Wednesday. Meanwhile, you're an experienced Mom, so have confidence in yourself and try to relax, enjoy your kids, and not worry.
Wishing you the best of luck!

Stressing and worrying won't help you none. Now it's possible that you could have something go wrong I won't lie but worrying isn't good. You need to be asking your doctor these questions as well. If you have any sort of pains you should sit down and rest because over working is not good expeacily if you've already had a misscarrige. I think as long as you have someone to help around the house and give you a rest you and your baby/babies should be fine don't stress out about it honey.

There is no reason that you can't carry this baby to term! However your age is against you (sorry not trying to be rude). The reason that there wasn't a heart beat is b/c it doesn't form for another week or so!
Just sit back and try to relax and take every day as it comes. If it is meant to be then everything will be fine!
Good luck next week!

I'm so sorry for your loss. I have had three miscarraiges one just this week, one in Dec 06 and my first in Jan 05. I have no children. I'm no expert but my body hasnt just expelled any of these babies I lost. My first was 13weeks gest, last two were around 8 weeks gest. I am petrified of trying again and its hard not to worry, but please try to keep positive. Thats all you can do. My heart goes out to you and your family. Good luck with your appointment.
Bec xoxo

Stop worrying. You have a baby inside of you right now and you should make sure that is your number one priority. Think about what is to come instead of the what ifs. Things will go so much more simpler. Congratulations!!!!
