Yes, you can see it beginning between the U.S. and China. China has increased its military spending by at least 10% a year for the last 10-12 years. They hold a huge portion of the U.S. debt and are becoming our biggest rivals in the world. The Russians (ex-soviets) are also friendlier with the Chinese at times then with us, both are out to put a stop to U.S. hegemony and influence throughout the world. Not to lessen by any means the war on terror and the war in Iraq- which could have been considered 2 seperate events at the start but which seem to have melded. Iraq providing a training ground for terrorists. But these and others eg. Afghanistan are sidebars, the Muslims at this time do not have the wealth, manpower, and military resources to take major or worldwide action against us. If you look back at the first cold war there was always other incidents going on, so to sum it up yes the nations of the world are realigning themselves and I can definitely see the beginnings of another "cold war" as the U.S. and China vie for supremacy.

It won't be cold by any means. The radical Muslims want to destroy us. The nut ball in Iran has already said that not only would the Jews be destroyed but the Christians and the Hindis and everyone else who is not Muslim. He wants to make the capitol of the Nation of Islam in Babylon which happens to be in Iraq! Nice guy! Their soldiers even do the goose step like Hitler's troops! Hello? Anybody out there know a fig about history???
