Pathologist is a medical doctor who determines what caused the death of an individual.
Entomologist-studies insects and can determine how long a person is deceased by the insects on/in the body or lack thereof.
Botanist-studies plants and can determine if a given plant found on or near a deceased person is from the actual geographical area or somewhere else.
The above areas are 3 examples and I know of more.
