Pretty slim as already said. But it also will depend on if the entire band is willing to commit 100% to practicing, performing and promoting. If you pull the money together and record a cd to promo yourself and take some nice photos and work the radio, local news, bar scene and internet you can generate quite a buzz and you will have a much better chance of making it. Also you need to send demos to labels big and small and not give up when they say no. If you only play the bars on the weekends and don't have a cd or anything you of course have practically no chance at all.

Depending on how good you are you could get signed fast or it could take awhil. But the more you work on it the more people see your stuff. Best bet make a demo send it to as many companies as pos and as many radio stations fm and online as you can. Our owner is always playing unsigned artists and helping them out. His contact info is in the profile here. Good luck with questions like this your on a good start.

I think you mean signed not singed. Since singed makes no sense at all. But I'd say the odds are very slim.

its either this...
- you win lots of contests and joining a contest which will give you an opportunity to be in a contract
- go get a manager and have a studio that will sponsor you
- perform in music cafes

but i think the best is joining contests, its fine even if its not on tv joining a concert supported by a studio might be fine..
