If you meen the 2008 Summer Olympic Games in Beijing they will run smoothly. The Chinese have hosted international competitions in the past year. The government of China has worked hard to host the games. The Chinese people are looking forward to hosting the 2008 Games. There has been a lot of construction. They will not let anything (humanly possible) to ruin there games.

I wouldn't be too concerned about the 2008 Olympics it is the ones that we in Britain will be paying for for the next 100 years that I would be concerned about. What I would like to know is why we the public were not consulted about the bid and the fact that they will raid, again, the lottery that was for good causes to finance the project.
My view was that we should have let Paris have the damned thing, just think, for the duration London and all the venue cities and lakes will be impossible with all the security, especially if the Yanks and Israelis come.
Best idea is to pull out now while the going is good.

I think the 2012 London Olympics will really show how hopeless the United Kingdom (and the workers!!!!!) are.
