can I ask something to the subconscious while having a lucid dream?

Yes it works! I asked if I should marry this guy. The subconscious said yes, and we are on four years of marriage and counting. I am so happy and we are so in love even now. Good move there. Good luck!

P.S. It helps to think a lot about that question right before bed.

To me, that sounds sorta like your left hand asking your right hand what it's opinion is.

Your subconsious is not closed off because of someone outside of yourself; your subconcious is closed off because you want it closed off.

It would be the same as putting socks in one drawer and pajamas in the next. Although you may know where you get your pajamas from but not your socks, both come from the place that your 'consciousness' will only confirm, since 'you' are the one who designated the drawers.

In other words, if your 'subconscious' mind owns a pair of socks it doesn't like and never wears, dragging those socks to the pajama drawer isn't going to change how you feel about them. So feel free to talk to your subconscious, but don't be surprised if the answers are all ones you expect.

There's no reason you couldn't. As soon as you go lucid, you should be able to do what you want as long as you don't wake up. Included in that is the prospect of knowing yourself.
