Kobe Bryant is better then Dwayne Wade in every instinct possible. Its actually an insult to ask a question like this. Kobe is scoring 65 points on the NBA and Dwayne Wade is getting nudged on his shoulder and crying about it. Come on now Dwayne Wade was suppose to be about his commercials fall like 6 times get up 7 or some bs. I believe Kobe is a better player than Wade, not to discount Dwayne's ability at all, but eh argument you gave about the ALL-Star game is completely rediculous. That is the most useless game in sports today. Hockey its America vs. the world, good story line. In baseball the winning league gets homefield in the World Series, pretty big deal. The nba all star game is just a gathering of players who probably would rather be somewhere else doing something other than playing with other overpaid egomanical babies. If your going to argue who is better than who wait 5 more years and see what Wade has done after time and injuries have worn on him, because that is the Kobe you are seeing now. 10-15 years ago Penny was what wade is now we will see what Wade does when shaq leaves. Kobe still great. Penny washed up, which one will wade be. As of right now it's two great players, it is pretty much who you like better the Lakers or the Heat.

Wade. First of all, Kobe's nickname is the black mamba. Kobe scored those 81 points all because he had no good teammates. If Shaqdaddy was still there, he probably would have scored only like 8 points or something. Wade is a better dunker, scorer, passer, thief. and Kobe rapes white women. dont use some lame all star game to compare players...all star is a weekend off for those guys...and as for Kobe's performance...did you see Lebron and the East guys when Kobe kept driving? None of them tried to hack or block him...and there was a sound byte of Lebron saying 'hes really playing'...theyre all there to collect their 24 or 36 k and have a good time, not knock each other around or play defense...and just so you know, I think Kobe is ok...Im a laker fan...Wade is talented, he took an undermanned Heat team and went toe to toe with Detroit for 6 games in the playoffs the year they smashed the Lakers...

If you are going to talk about the all-star game, then you have to keep in mind who's coaching it?

Eddie Jordan coached the East with Gilbert Arenas playing the PG and SG position for the majority of the time. I can't blame him for doing that because its his superstar. Wade's time was limited.

Also: How many SGs from the west made the All-star team? There was only Tmac and Kobe and Ray Allen was a replacement.

In the East.......Gilbert, Wade, Vince, Rip Hamilton,Joe Johnson.......

They all had to share playing time while Arenas had the majority of the playing time at SG (instead of pg).

My question to you is.........Where was Kobe each of the times the Heat and Lakers met this season? Look up Wade's #s!!!

Kobe is a much better player. wade got a lot of recognition for showing up in the finals, dallas always have problems guarding athletic shooting guards, so I'm not impressed with his performance in the finals or with his game in general. Kobe busted 65 pts in three quarters against Dallas last year. the bulls held wade in check last year in the playoffs and Detroit did also, we forget he has shaq daddy on his team, without shaq they are a below 500 team. no one shuts down Kobe & he has less talent around him! kobe is the only scoring superstar that plays defense. kobe had his time and its probably closed now that shaq is out.. right now, he cannot lead the lakers to the finals and i think its already validated

the verdict on d-wade is still undecided becasue shaq is still there...

bottomline, we can compare them when shaq is completely out of the picture in miami.. lets see if d-wade can lead them to win a ring again and so is kobe.. so you have to wait for 2 more years
