To be on the safe side I would get the permission of anyone you plan to post a picture of that is not your immediate family. If it is a child or an adult. It can cause problems down the road.

Assuming that the picture was taken in public, no.

If the picture was not taken in public, or you plan to use the picture in a movie or any other form of public media, you may want to get the parents to sign a release.

But, 9/10 times, you don't need any permission.

If it is your child then okay but if the child is anybody else' you may need to have permission for that. Because that is under internet and publication rule. Be cautious about it and better if you have the permission.

ohhhh yes. There are liability issues for you if you donnot. Meaning, they can sue you if they feel it necessary. Definitely ask the parent's permission. Also, post pictures on the internet with caution. We all know there are freaks out there.

According to the law you nead the parents written concent, if you don't have that, then you are breaking the law and could be prosicuted for Violation of privacy and security of a minor.
