none of these foolish peaople know what the taking about. the first chords you should learn go in this order G,C,D,E,A,F,B. that the exact order. play them in sections thought so start with g,c,d

A, Simple chord, all in the same positions on different strings. Then E, then G, then D, and then C. C is quite hard so don't worry if you can't do it for a long time. I think F is a very hard chord so try and learn those ones first before trying out any odd position ones or Bar chords.

your guitar chords only go a,b,c,d,e,f,g,.then you have the other styles to do them such as your minor chords which a through g all have as well as your 5ths,augmented and so on.to learn the proper fingerings for these chords try doing some searching online or head out to your local music shop to find a chord book.i have one that shows somewere around 1500 different chords.listed below is a few i just found with a quik search.hope this helps you and good luck learning to play the guitar.

C,G,G7,D,D7,A7 and Em Chords are the first ones to learn when learning to play Guitar >.< I am learning to play and my instruction book lists these chords to learn.
