Why waste your time? If you are going pre med, then do it!!! Education is expensive and also time consuming. Cut out the middle man (nursing) and go to the source (medical school)

An excellent idea!. I think it should be a requirement. Just remember, it may add time to your schooling, but much wisdom to your vocation.
