The normal size of the uterus is approximately the size of a fist and has a volume of 75-200cc.
At 12/40 the fetus is approx 75-80mm long and the uterus reaches just above the level of the pubic symphysis.
(Approx 12cm or thereabouts in vertical height)

It is roughly the size of a medium/large fist when unoccupied. The occupant changes it quite a bit, at delivery, it is the size of the baby plus a little fluid.
