In Virtual Villagers 2, at what age are women unable to have children?

After 3 tries, I FINALLY managed to solve the food/starvation problem that plagued my first three societies (yay!), and am now in the process of building the population. One of my 51 year old villagers will not get pregnant no matter who she's with or how many times she "goes indoors." At what age do the women stop being able to have children?

Age 18 they can have children eventhough they're old enough to work at age 14. They stop having children when it says "elderly" under their health in your villagers statistics.
