Hi i was eating at a restaurant where a drop of salsa spilled on my jeans. I was wondering if the lemon in the salsa or any of the ingredients would bleach or lighten the clothes?

Take and blot the salsa stain off. Do not rub it in. Then, rinse it in cold water before wash. If it is a bad stain pretreat it with something like shout. I did this before and it never took the color out of my clothes. It was a red shirt with dark blue jeans. Good Luck.

Not usually. There is not enough acidic ingredients to cause fading in salsa. If the jeans are light, the tomato might stain, so wash them quick in warm water and detergent to get it off.

Yep....

Sure will if it's strong enuff....

Its called washing it out immediately after the spill...

Just dab it with some soap and water and a washcloth....

If its just a small stain/spot...don't sweat the small stuff....and keep truckin~
