Water is the best moisturizerever created. Alcohol and caffeine are the hardest on your skin.
But since you're talking about dark circles, the cause is more important than creams and moisturizers.
Lots of good rem (deep) sleep is also important.
Now, as to cause. The usual number one cause of dark circles and bags sometimes under the eyes is an allergy. If you sleep with a pet, like a cat, or have a down comforter...you might think about an allergy. Address the cause and the circles go away, but it does take time.

Anything that's a good moisturizer will work fine for your eyes. Water and sleep are not really factors here. You should try using a stick of cocoa butter around your eyes every morning and then before you go to sleep, take a cotton ball and put baby oil around your eyes.
Around your eyes- by your lids and underneath in the "bag" area are the only places on your face w/o any oil ducts and that's the reason it's darker under your eyes. Try that for a while instead of buying all of those other products that will just do the same thing for you. But do continue to sleep as much as possible :)

It doesn't really works it only sheilds you from getting the dark circles darker. Make sure it contains SPF. Drink 8 glass of water everyday. Sleep between the time range of 10pm-2am. Another things is if your parents have dark eye circles or eye bags, it's most likely you will get it too. Try the product ZA.

no, good sound sleep helps get rid of dark circles under the eyes. I see that you say you sleep soundly. Check your level of personal stress, family genetics and your age. Some things are inevitable. My circles get darker and deeper every year. I don't expect the trend to reverse
