have you seen reggie bush play, hes not that great at running back in the nfl.ill admit hes a good reciever though, but the texans already have plenty of talent there. they just went with a smarter choice and drafted D. even though he hasnt made an impact yet, he will develop into a very good DE.

You answered your own question there. The reason why people make a big deal is that for rookies, Reggie Bush was more of an impact player than Mario williams was. I mean, the saints went to the playoffs thanks in part to reggie's all around game and as far as mario williams go, there weren't really any highlights except for maybe a couple of hits. It brings to mind when Sam Bowie was drafted over Michael Jordan. What a travesty!!!

Because a player of Reggie Bush caliber doesn't come around often. The guy can do it ALL! He can run the ball, catch the ball, and return kicks. The reason he wasn't very effective running the ball this year is because he had to share the load with Deuce. He will become a great runner, no doubt about it. Mario Williams didn't do nothing at all! Even though he will become a good DE, Reggie will also become good at running the ball. We have already seen what he did in college, it will just take some time for him to do it in the NFL. The Texans did need to draft defense, but they should have taken Bush. Reggie was by far the best player in the draft, even thought he didn't get ROY, he was still the best player there. And you should always take the best talent possible, no matter what the need. At the time the Texans didn't need a RB, but they found out quickly during training camp, they did. It would have been a much smarter move from a talent stand point and a business stand point to take Reggie over Mario.

U don't understand Reggie Bush is an INSTANT impact player

alot of the plays the saints made were on the fact that teams were paranoid about Reggie Bush. Which is why his stats weren't great at all. Which is what I expected Every one was expecting him to be a god when he is still new to the NFL game.

But both Bush and Young defiantly lucked out, being passed on did great things for thier career, neither of the teams they were on depended on them as much as the Texans would have
while mario had a ton of pressure put on his shoulders

I think it kindof worked out good for everyone

Reggie Bush is a Game Breaker. Guys like him dont come around that often. One of the texans biggest need right now is running back. At least if they took him last year, that position would be settled right now and probably for the next 8-10 years. They could probably have focused in on getting rady quinn this year and then have a team that features Brady Quinn and Reggie Bush. Instead they have Carr and Green right now, doesnt quite have the same ring to it, even if they get Quinn this year Quinn and Green doesnt have the same ring either. .

Because sometimes you just have to draft the most talented person instead of what's needed. In that rare case, Reggie Bush fit the mold. He could've done wonders for that Houston Texans offense. He impacts the way teams play defense.

When you have the opportunity to pick up a game changer like Reggie Bush you don't pass it up. Bush can make plays on on the ground through the air and on special teams. Hes no all-star Rb but his talent makes him a great weapon that can score on any play. Even if Mario Williams is the next Julius Peppers. Houston still missed out.

It was Reggie's first season. He's not going to be a Superstar in his first season. I was even pissed @ the Texans for that one. Passing on Reggie Bush was a big deal because he is a dynamic player. He is one of those backs that add a passing diminsion to the Saints offense

I dont think that the Texans should have drafted Reggie Bush. I do believe they should have drafted Vince Young. It's his hometown, he's a hero there, he's proved that he's a fantastic player and the Texans would be in a different scenario if they had drafted him.
