Capturing the output made from the speakers directly to a file?

Question

Basically what i want is. a program that will capture w/e is being played throught my speakers and put them in a file..I know using FRAPS can capture the sound from a game well i want the same thing.but just what my speakers are playing.

i tried doing that thing with sndrec and sndvol but it only record. one minute i need more
