Hello. There's nothing embarrassing about a thong. I think if you asked your mom for her advise she might even suggest one. But if you're shy, get a great friend to go shopping with you and you should each get one, then it will be less embarrassing. My best advise though is go to Victoria's Secret, their Pink thongs are the best and they come in low rise. Good Luck!

It may be out of your comfort zone, but the only way you can move from this embarassment is to just feel the fear and do it anyway. Try going to an underwear shop, these people sell them everyday and could really care a less what you are buying. The only way your going to move past your feelings is to just buy one and get it over with. Anything new can be embarrassing but people buy them everyday and the sales people really don't care what you buy, honestly!

Lol. Sorry. Ok. Just go in and do it. Nothing wrong with getting a VERY popular form of undies that a lot of women are wearing. I had a very similar problem buying something, but after a while I realized it wasn't a big deal at all.

I would just tell your mom you want to get some, so you're not embarrased about everyone being able to see your underwear lines. Thats how I got my first, when I was 14, when I had those jeans with no pockets in the butt. But anyways, tell her you don't need to get the g-string skanky kind, just a typical thong.

Is there another adult that you are close to and feel comfortable asking and shopping with? I don't know your mom but she might appreciate the fact that you are coming to her about something private. Otherwise Victorias Secret has the best lineless panties. Good luck.

Ask your mom if she has any suggestions for you and she might bring up the thong herself.

It is embarassing, but I think if you talk to your mom in private, it will be less embarassing and just explain why you want it. If you were my daughter, I would get one for you.

go now in the lingerie store or department store and buy for yourself.there's nothing wrong with that and at the same time you can choose what color or style you want.
