I try that i shouldn't break anyone's heart still it is impossible to please the whole world. And in your case if you simply dated and not promised for married then you are not guilty.

try to mend that broken heart---is what i do----maybe you should told guy #1, that you were not inlove with him and you found guy #2, the 1 you married.---------OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!
