Definitely. A lot of people advocate freedom to choose what they wear but not everyone is capable of switching dresses everyday which leads to inferiority complex amongst the lesser privileged students and a sense of meanness amongst the richer ones.
Besides its not all that hard to wear a uniform.

Love. Clothes are fine. But I would rather look at a persons soul, than their clothes. If she wore their same clothes they would call her a copy cat. Be happy that she's a good girl. With morals and dreams. Save that cash your saving for her college fund. She should be proud of her grades not her clothes. After all isn't that superficial.

I think it would help somewhat but kids are always going to pick on each other. If it isnt the clothes then they will go for personal apperence like hair, nose, body , etc. I have two kids in school and it makes me so mad when i hear of stuff like this going on. my boy is in 1st grade and he already has this happening in his class. It is so sad where have we failed that are children are so mean?

This just goes to show that not only are school children mean and cruel but so are the "adults". Please get in touch with me if you can. Maybe my daughter and I can help.

Uniformes are pointless, so kids will always be made fun of no matter what.
