so i graduated school in january and moved back home to live with my mom. i kinda lost touch with most of my friends around here, while i was away, and my best friend from here is now in asia. so i've been mostly just interacting with my mom, but i still talk to friends online or phone... i like creepy movies, like david lynch stuff and am working on a screenplay that is kinda creepy, so my mind has become weird. i think the biggest problem i have is that my last 2 relationships have been screwed up, my first girlfriend, i believe lied to me and told me that she was raped and pregnant bc she wanted me back, and another girl i had a weird experience with that i'm not sure what happened, if she liked me back or not. i can never know these things and it's messing my head up. i start work next week but i still feel like i'm losing my mind. how can i stay sane with all these unanswered questions in my head??

Don't worry, it gets worse... much worse.

I'm sorry that you're having such a rough time, but no, I don't think that you're losing your mind. You've been through a lot, and as you said, unanswered questions are messing with your head.

I wouldn't worry at all about your screenplay, and choices in movies. You seem to be quite creative, and that's a good thing.

It's a shame that your best friend isn't there right now, but when you start your new job you might meet some people that you would enjoy socializing with. At least you will get out of the house, and around more people.

If you are really worried that something is wrong with you, you should see the doctor before you start your job. Let him/her know how you're feeling, and see what they recommend.

I have a feeling that things are going to be going uphill from now on for you--just take good care of yourself. :)

Well, It seems that u r thinking wrong about ur condition, u have not lost ur mind or anything like that. U don't see ur close old fiends now but u r still in touch, that means u r still dear to them. About the girls, they sounds totally weird and tried to take advantage of u. If they r not ur friends now, its for ur goodwill, they would have done it again. And after all," u r what u r , if people still like u, its fine, if they don't, its their problem". theirs nothing wrong with u as i see it. U can always get a really nice friend. Believe in urself and do what ur prudence says. Don't be depressed that they r not ur friends anymore. Don't be sad for those who take u for granted, they never deserved u.

If you're a writer, doesn't the world depend on your mind being weird? Just focus the weirdness to your work. I bet you'll get something amazing out of it. Creating is always therapy of sorts. Just let yourself be in the moment, and put it on paper. If you feel this doesn't help, and you're not able to work out your own weirdness maybe seek therapy.

Find sanity in your art. :)

Good luck!

David Lynch is the greatest.

I feel like that a lot. I don't have much advice, just try to embrace the madness. Roll with it, don't fight it. Distract yourself to keep from thinking about things that trouble you. Try to get out and meet new people if you can bring yourself to, it helps.

Good luck.

so your question is:

am I losing my mind?

and my question is:

do you want to loose your mind?

the answer is inside your head.what ever your thoughts are is probably what will happen to your mental health.

I suggest you try and stop thinking so much- I can empathize with you here. Try relaxing yourself by clearing your mind. try meditation or listen to some relaxing music. Remember the past can not be changed.

By the sounds of it you are a creative soul and this type of 'insanity' is common in those with great imaginations.

try channeling your energy from past relationships and 'weird ***' x girlfriends into your script, answer them with your imagination!. it may enhance it and your own mental health!

good luck.
