I have never rieceved any state assistance but the child support office and every one got involved because i was an under age mother and the father tried to say i was unfit
well 12 years later i have recieved no money he was only to pay 50.00 a month and now the satute of limitations is up on my court order and they say i have to go to court
well the only thing i want changed is for my papers to state i'm responsible for her insurance
I was told i cannot do this this is only to protect what i'm owed well the only way i can do this is to pay to take it to court my self . short of funds and my husband makes 133.00 to much a year for me to get finacial aid any ideas?

i had asked them about this but i said well what if he doesn't appear and they said well nothing drastic would be done

oh and i have not seen this person or heard from him since 1996 and the only way i can serve papers is to furnish an address well i have no clue and they wont give me one so either way I still lose the funny part i have never been contacted from the office until 9 days ago from 1996 until now whats up with those people?

listen, thats a LONG time ago, and your papers should have been modified since then. they (yoru child support dept) obviously are not on the ball. if they do it again, report it (in writing only) to your states Regional FEDERAL Child Support Office.

todays laws are that they go by both parents incomes... and there is an automatic cost of living increase every 2-4 years (depending upon what state you live in). the links are below; just click on your state and fill it in... thats a general idea as to what will be ordered.

as for the insurance you can provide through the state, for free.
