If I knew where you were staying I could tell you what the pool was like. Most of the hotel pools in LV are very nice, some are really incredible.
There are a million things to do, you are going to have a great time. Mine has been going with us since she was 3 and she loves Las Vegas.

A lot of casinos have arcades, which can easily kill a few hours. If you have a lot of money to spend (and I do mean A LOT) you can ride roller coasters at New York New York, Circus Circus, or the Stratosphere.
Also, a lot of hotels have free "shows" outside or inside. The Mirage has a volcano that goes off periodically, and TI has its Sirens show in the evenings. Also the Rio has its Masquerade in the Sky above the casino floor. There is also the Bellagio fountain shows.
It may be tough for you to do some of these things though. You need quite a bit of cash for the rides, and the casinos don't like underage people loitering on the casino floors. Transportation to all the casinos will be tough too. If your with your parents it shouldn't be a problem though. Hope you have fun!

I'm 13 too and my grandparents live in Las Vegas. We always see shows like the Blue Man Group or Cirque Du Soleil is usually there. Also at casinos there is arcades and stuff. Go to downtown Las Vegas too shop and see the lights. It's amazing. There is go carting and so much fun stuff. I love Las Vegas!!! =D
