You mean once you loose your mucus plug. yeah of course you can. They say not to after your water break because of infection, but if your water has broke hopefully you will be on your way to the hospital and not making time for sex. I lost my mucus plus weeks before my son was born and had sex the whole time. Your mucus plus really is just useful in the eraly stages of pregnancy. Your DR will even tell you when you loose it, it doesnt mean you will go into labor and alot of times it rebuilds itself! YOur fine mama go get it on!

Yes, you can. The baby is still protected by the membranes that hold the water. Bacteria can't reach the baby unless your water has broken and then it's time to get to the hospital ASAP! Sex could cause you to go into labor as well, so be careful!
Tyrone, some men think pregnant women are sexy. So what if it's not your cup of tea.

It's not the mucus plug that stops infection, it's the bag of water being intact. If your water hasn't broken and you aren't showing any signs of labor, then sure. But be careful!

it may be countless issues, Im 23 weeks and we had intercourse in the evening, and here morning i woke up, and when I peed i had an analogous appropriate difficulty you're speaking approximately. If he got here in you, it can be a area of your plug, because of the fact sperm have a hormone that soften the cervix, often inflicting cramps, so definite this is extremely lots achievable.

It would be very unwise. The mucous plug helps keep infection out of the womb. If you have sex or stick anything up there- you increase the risk of infecting your womb with bacteria that could harm your baby.

I am a labor doula in training...my study guides state that it is still safe to have intercourse after your mucous plug comes out...it says that there is no evidence that sex can cause problems...but some say it can, so its up to you! Good luck!
