Should child support laws be the same in all 50 states?

reguardless of what state you live in ?

well laws, guide lines,things taken in to consideration no they are not the same

not the same at all

this is a very true fact i just compared two states and i would say the name but i don't mention some things with names

why would i ask this question if i were not basing it on facts

the federal government made the laws and each state is supposed to adopt guidelines to follow pertaining to said laws.

the state and federal government are TIRED of people not paying for their children, so they passed stronger laws. deadbeat parents are the main reason why families are forced onto welfare. and they finally made the connection.

if the caseworker (or dept) isnt on the ball and dont apply the laws, i would report it to the Regional FEDERAL Child Support Office and their states Attorney General.

Their the Same all over, its actually Federal Laws, If States didn't have laws like these we'd would have a Public and Private Outcry from a lot Single Mothers out there have to take care of their Children by working two Jobs on their own Supporting thier kids.

they're live would be easier If the Father no matter what he does with his life Helps out the Children it would be better for the Mother.

Yes.... No.... Maybe....

The fact is, child support laws are really part of FAMILY laws....
FAMILY law is identified by our constitution a STATE'S area.... not the federal governemnt's...
The reason the state's are different is because of cost of living, mostly... for example... it costs MUCH more to live in New York than it does to live in southern LA.... therefore, child support there SHOULD be more... it costs more to raise the child....

no that would be way to intelligent. how would all the lawyers and private investigators,not to mention those new services that collect back child support for you(for a small fee,yeah right) make any money if all the laws were the same and the situation was stable.

Yes they should but then that would be too easy. Blame the law makers, that thanks to the electroal regulations aren't even voted into office by the public any longer...
