I'd have to know who was born in St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, West London in 1957 to answer that. That would be a lot of babies, I would think. Give us a hint?
Or are you saying that YOU were born in St. Mary's Hospital, Paddington, West London in 1957? If so, thank you for sharing.

Michael Jackson. Listen to this great musician sing : She is out of my life. A great voice, tremendous voice control, incredible diction. Has penned many a famous song : Ben , Human Nature, I'll Be There For You, Thriller, etc. Michael's singing career began as a young child singing such hit songs as : ABC, I want You Back. An incredible , awesome music career, spanning over several years ; has been called : The King Of Pop. As far as I know, Michael was not born in England. He is my choice for greatest singer/ songwriter.

It depends what you mean by greatest....... Most successful/influential/inspirational??
There are certain songwriters than changed the face of music forever by being honest and controversial. There are others who simply write great songs that people love.
It's a tricky one, and I have a favourite but that doesn't necessarily make them the 'greatest'.
I'd love to know if you are referring to anyone in particular yourself?? Sorry - I am not good with dates.

good quetion. tough one too. john lennon is up there. david bowie's another i'd be shy to omit. freddie mercury goes without saying, norah jones, george harrison (perhaps the! most under-rated songwriter/musician of our time), henley/frey/leadon (the eagles) have to take my vote all the same.
