People like her because she is unique, fun and cute. She has a great voice. Why do people hate on her, shes just a girl doing her thang. If you dont like her, dont watch her or listen to her music. I am not exactly a fan but she is succesful, maybe you are just jealous.

Probably because they are jealous / they want to look cool / her voice (doesnt bother me but...) / the fact that she can't really sing / it's a mindless, pointless show (which is actually more dislike than hate)
