LA and NY are the places to be for rising young actors. Seattle, not so much. What do I do?

Go to Vancouver. It's only three hours away and it is third in North America (behind L.A. and New York) for major film production. There are countless talent agencies here and some great schools. Also, there is a HUGE theatre scene here and plenty of work as an extra for the in between times.

There is a lot of theatre in Seattle, I'm told Seattle Rep, for one. I'm sure they have classes and ways you can involve yourself in the business.

Call Seattle Rep and ask if they have a volunteer program you can join.
