Hii

As you have not given much details bout ur setup

I will suggest you to go through following steps.

1. what type of security you are using ? if you are using WPA-PSK there may be difference in ways you router and client card are taking computing the key , so try with open security.

2. Check wether for any mismatch in supported data rated or other parameters as in your case what I think is router is declining teh connection.

3. check your router allows b clients also if your card is b

4. check your router allows long preamles clients also.

The best way to resolve this is to sniff the air and check for the reason why the AP is not allowing the client.

Hope this helps

from the sounds of the problem your having is that your trying to use either a belkin router or wireless card or both. my best advice to you is if possible take back the Belkin equipment and get the Linksys setup although it costs more it is more reliable and also has better range of access. have used both systems and after spending several hundreds of dollars trying to get Belkin equipment to work decided to take all the equipment i could back to the store and bought the slightly higher priced Linksys setup and it was quick and easy to install
