Whatever you choose, DO NOT retort to an eating dissorder! I would suggest getting off Yahoo Answers! (Ha ha just saying less computer and tv time!) And get active! Seeing as the weather has been pretty nice lately! Watch what you eat, I would suggest roughly counting your calories! It will drop quicker than it sounds it would! Good luck and good choice on wanting to get healthy!

Don't go completely off of carbs, it's REALLY bad for your body, especially your heart and can cause you to be hypoglycemic! And don't completely cut out fat, you're body needs healthy fat (like avocados and olive oil) to make hormones and endogenous steroids. The best way to diet is to eat 6 small meals a day. Don't skip breakfast, it gets your metabolism going! Try to cut down your normal caloric intake by 500 calories. If you don't know your normal intake, count calories for a day of whatever you would normally eat. Start your diet the next day minus 500 calories. Eat breakfast, 3 hours later have a snack around 100 calories, 3 hours later, eat lunch, 3 hours later another snack and so on so forth! Don't eat within 2 hours of bedtime because you're body won't have time to process the meal and you will store all those calories immediately as fat. Exercise is very important 30 minutes 3 times a week will do the trick! That's about it!

I did a 3 day juice fast where I drank 3oz of juice every 15 minutes for 8-10 hours each day. I lost 12lbs in 3 days and have kept it off for over 6 months. And it can be done up to twice a month. My doctor suggested it as part of a detoxification diet, it called for fresh juice, but I have a life so I used Bolthouse Juices: 100% Carrot, Green Goodness, Vedge, Blue Goodness and Passion/Apple/Carrot. I buy them at Publix or Super Walmart in the produce dept. They must be kept cold and/or refrigerated as they can spoil easily, just like fresh juice.

low carb and exercise is the fastest way but as soon as you go back to carbs you put it back, Weight watchers and Jenny Craig are most sensible and easier to work into real life, But if you need to drop 10 or 15 lbs quickly go carbless and walk 40 min a day for about 2 weeks.. I did this and lost 13 lbs the first 14 days.

There's no quick way to lose weight but if you stick with a regimen for awhile it'll work...I've heard Weight Watchers and Jenny Craig are really effective so give them a try! It's nicer to have someone help you while you're at it instead of dieting without assistance because it's more likely you won't stick with it...good luck hun!
