On your web browser, go to 'Tools'. Then click 'Options'. Click the 'Privacy' tab. The click 'History' if it is not the active tab. Then click 'Clear browsing history'.
If you have CCleaner, go to 'Applications' if you use Firefox and check the box with the 'Internet History' option. Then clean up. Clearing IE's history is an automatic function of CCleaner.

if you're using a newer computer and a updated browser... at the top there should be an option [along with file, edit, etc] that says history...

at the bottom there should be an option that says show in sidebar... click that.. chose the day you want to clear the history from, right click and click on delete...

to select more than one to delete...
hold down shift and you'll be able to select several links or days to delete...

hope that helps. = ]

Windows hides your history in so many places you will never find them all.

If you're trying to hide it from a newbie any of the methods listed above should work.

If it is from a forensic investigation, confess it will save the money and time it takes to look for it, because nothing you can do will hide where you go, and they will find it and can track everything you typed, looked at, and where you see it.
