Happy Birthday. I hope we'll always be friends, even though we go to different schools and don't see each other as much...I wish you all the best!

This is really an odd question. If you don't even know you are still friends, then why bother to send a card? You should be in contact with someone if they're truly a friend. If they've moved on, let it go. Lives change, people get lost in their lives. If you want to revive your friendship, if you're too shy to call him, then send the card, and suggest you reconnect sometime. If he calls to say thanks for the card, you've found your friend. If no response, then let it go, he's developing in another direction. Sometimes life goes that way! Our paths cross or diverge for many reasons. Don't take it personally. It happens to all of us! Growth can lead us in many various directions. Just a fact. And an opportunity for you to find new friends as well. A phone call would be better, but you need to do it however you feel most comfortable. Good luck!

Happy Birthday Dude. It's been so long since we talked, how about giving me a ring-a-ding so you can tell me some juicy gossip and I'll do the same. I can't believe it has been _______ years since we talked, but I'd really like to start talking again.
