Which show was better? I know this must have been asked a million times, but I'm not convinced. See, I used to think the Addams' were more hip, but having watched the show again I realise the comedy has dated. The Munsters has also dated, but visually they were more faithful to the horror movies they were based on. And didn't that theme rock?

Ive always been a fan of the Addams Family. I grew up on that show! I hadn't seen the Munsters untill recently, a few years back (long time, I know), but as I said, the Addams Family is what I've been watching since I was a little kid, and besides, in terms of looks, Lurch was tons better than Herman, and Lily couldn't hold a candle to Morticia.

Addams family as weird as they were it kinda made more sense! The Munsters had the Frankenstein monster married to a vampire & had a werewolf & Marylin was the weird one??The Addams family was just a bunch of rich weird people! I love them now on TVLAND!

The Munsters have my vote. You can't beat the hijinks Grandpa and Herman got into. It was always a comical case of an extreme misunderstanding with them. The Addams Family seemed more hocus pocus to me, but also entertaining :)
