MOCROSOFT WORD Recovery?

I've been editing a manual, the next time I opened it, the recovery window appears, if I choose to recover the files however, it was not responding. What's the best to recover this?

I would suggest you ignore the recovery. Word auto saves every 10 minutes, so you would have lost only about 10 minutes worth of editing. If you force the issue, you may recover an already corrupted document. I set my auto save to 3 minutes :) since I don't like re-doing stuff. (TOOLS / OPTIONS / SAVE tab)
