You can just twist the ends of them and use a few layers of clear nail polish on them and dry them good. Will last for a long time. Don't let them where the cats can chew on them though. you know how they are with string. You would be defeating your purpose. Good luck. Really works.

Either buy new laces or go to a shoe repair place.

they are called aglids btw. buy them on shoelaces duh
