I need help...I made a peice of jewlery that is cute and cheap to make but really cute. I already have a website up but I have to stop it once in a while because I can't keep up with the demand of 200+ orders a month and I have to make each peice by hand.... :( So I was wondering if I should be getting in touch with a marketer and commercialize my jewlery invention? How do I do this? I want machines to make my pendants now and sell them in stores...

I think you better off refine your process and the filled the orders online first, or pursue automation of making your jewelry. It takes resources and time to build-up a market offline, and a distribution system in place to properly transfer your finished goods to the stores. Internet eliminate a lot of that for you, which tends to mean that you have to do a little bit everything on your end.

You are trying to get a business going, so don't go nuts. Once you are able to fill the orders online, and have capacity to fill more orders offline, then you can start building the offline business. Hope this helps.

Well for finding a marketer I'd just go to hotjobs.com and start looking around for posted resumes. However, I'd imagine your jewelry product would lose some appeal once it's made by machines. I'm sure the hand-made aspect adds to its charm. As far as dealing with excessive current demand, why not just raise your prices until demand drops to a point where you can handle it? You're really shooting yourself in the foot, there. Supply and demand baby, it's all basic economics.
